TRCC kicked off the weekend on Friday, the 28th, with a Halloween party complete with costume parade, hayrides, and a buffet at the clubhouse, followed by Trunk or Treat and Haunted Trail at Park East on the 29th. In its third year, this event drew a large crowd of costumed revelers to Park East, where the evening represented a dream come true for kids. They got to dress up in costumes, collect candy from 60 cars parked in the Park East parking lot, and then wind their way through a spooky haunted trail that followed the path behind the pool. The event was fun for all ages and a labor of love for a team of over 40 volunteers working under the direction of event organizers John and Maureen Parent. It's a great example of the best this community has to offer.
